Robinson Newspapers

Robinson Papers hired us to build a centrally-managed web site with different personalities for each of their papers but shared control.

We built out a sophisticated system in Drupal, with extensive workflow rules, roles for freelancers, writers, editors, and publishers, and the ability to share or republish content between the various editions. We also imported over 10,000 articles from their previous host, built custom themes for each paper, and created a training video for them to use with their staff.

The Ballard News Tribune and the West Seattle Herald papers have launched, and the others will launch soon!

Customer Feedback

Again, good job on the site. Unfortunately, most people won't be able to tell just how cool it really is. There is definitely a better look and feel on the outside, but where it really shines is under the hood. In today's world of crappy software vendors who provide crappy products and next to zero service at premium prices, it's refreshing to work with someone who is honest, thorough, reasonable and willing to do what it takes to meet the customer's needs.
