Website Effectiveness

Hikers cross a bridge

Your website is up and running, but something's not quite right. It's not bringing in the results you expect -- and you're not exactly sure why.

You're not coming up in search. You have a lot of traffic, but nobody reaches out for your services. You struggle to post new content, it seems like it should be easier. You're worried about getting hacked. The website feels slow, and sometimes you can't even edit it. It takes a bunch of steps to add a new customer. You have no idea what to do next.

There's a million things that can make your site shine -- and just as many can make it tank. Where should you put your time and effort?

Are you considering everything that can impact your site?

There's not just one thing. At Freelock, we've identified 6 broad areas of factors you need to keep in mind as a site owner -- 3 that add value, and 3 that might be costing you sales. Within these areas there are dozens of more specific things to consider.

Website Appraisal

Our website appraisal is a brief evaluation of your website across our 6 areas of focus:

  • Reach
  • Engagement
  • Delivery
  • Security
  • Performance
  • User Experience

We put a dollar value on your website based on your traffic, how the site is built, what it does for your business, and we create 2 - 3 recommendations for what we see that you should focus on next.

Website Quality Evaluation

Beyond a quick appraisal, we have an in-depth quality checklist we use on sites we build. With over 160 items, this checklist goes much deeper than our appraisal to identify what your site is doing well, and what needs attention.

With this evaluation, we put together a roadmap of recommendations for improvements. This is a great starting place for site owners who want to make sure their site is running as smoothly and as great as it can be.

Vision Plan

Your website is never done, and the web itself keeps changing. Every month we focus on a specific "Topic of the Month" and develop a specific offer related to this topic. Topics come from both our current areas of focus, as well as specific seasonal subjects.
