Freelock Computing has taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of its data and prevent unauthorized access to the information it maintains which includes authentication, monitoring, auditing, and encryption. Security measures have been built into the design, implementation and day-to-day practices of the entire operating environment as a part of its continuing commitment to risk management. These measures are designed and intended to prevent corruption of data, block unknown or unauthorized access to our systems and information, as well as provide reasonable protection of private information we possess.
Electronic Commerce and Sensitive Data
Visitors to the Freelock Computing website, and other e-commerce sites hosted by Freelock Computing, now have the option of making electronic payment for goods and services. Such transactions are allowed only under tightly controlled circumstances, where there are appropriate technological and other safeguards in place to protect financial and other sensitive data.
The design of the electronic commerce systems supported on Freelock Computing's production servers is such that financial data remains primarily with appropriate financial institutions. Wherever possible, financial information is not seen or collected by Freelock servers itself, but rather by designated banks that route the data, transfer the funds and confirm payment to both parties. In addition, measures including but not limited to encryption are used to ensure the integrity and security of the web customer's financial information.
In cases where storing sensitive data is unavoidable, measures have been taken to limit login access to the servers hosting such data, and sensitive data is deleted from the server as soon as hosting this data is no longer necessary.
This information shall not be construed in any way as providing business, legal or other advice, or warranting as fail proof, the security of information provided via Freelock Computing's servers or hosting.
